The Punjab government is offering interest-free loans of up to Rs. 1 million under the Parwaaz Card program to help eligible residents cover the upfront expenses associated with overseas employment.
The initiative is being implemented through the Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) and is designed for individuals who have secured employment abroad but need financial support for visa processing, medical examinations, travel, and other pre-departure costs.
Who Can Apply for Parwaaz Card?
To qualify for financing under the Parwaaz Card program, an applicant must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC), and be a resident of Punjab.
Applicants must also have a confirmed overseas job offer. The offered monthly salary should be below SAR 5,000 or its equivalent in another currency. The program is open to both male and female applicants, including skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled workers who meet the required conditions.
What Expenses Does the Parwaaz Card Loan Cover?
The interest-free financing is intended to cover costs directly linked to overseas employment. These may include visa and visa-processing expenses, medical examinations, air tickets, protectorate fees, skills verification or testing charges, and fees charged by licensed Overseas Employment Promoters.
Eligible applicants can receive financing of up to Rs. 1 million, depending on their approved overseas employment-related expenses.
How to Apply for Parwaaz Card Loan
Applicants who already have an overseas job offer can apply through the official Parwaaz Card portal.
Candidates are required to register on the portal, provide their personal and employment details, and complete the online loan application process. Applicants can also use the digital platform to track the progress of their applications.
The information and documents submitted during the application process are subject to verification. Applicants should therefore provide accurate and genuine details to avoid rejection or disqualification.
