The Punjab government has opened applications for another phase of the Chief Minister Punjab Green Tractor Program, offering farmers a subsidy of Rs. 750,000 on each tractor.
Under the latest phase, the government will provide 10,000 subsidized tractors with engine capacity ranging from 50 to 65 horsepower.
The government launched the new phase after completing the distribution of 25,000 green tractors on subsidy under the earlier phase of the program. Eligible farmers can apply until August 31, 2026.
Who Can Get the Rs. 750,000 Subsidy?
The program targets eligible farmers in Punjab who meet the requirements set by the provincial Agriculture Department.
According to the official advertisement, applicants must have at least five acres of agricultural land to qualify for the scheme.
Farmers must also meet the other eligibility and verification requirements specified under the Green Tractor Program.
How Much Subsidy Will Farmers Receive?
The Punjab government will provide a subsidy of Rs. 750,000 per tractor under the latest phase.
The subsidy applies to tractors with a capacity ranging from 50 HP to 65 HP.
This means successful applicants will receive government financial support toward the purchase of an eligible tractor instead of paying its entire cost themselves.
How to Apply for Punjab Green Tractor Scheme 2026
Eligible farmers can apply online through the official Green Tractor Scheme portal at gts.punjab.gov.pk.
Applicants should enter the required personal and agricultural land information and complete the application process before the deadline.
Farmers who cannot submit an online application can get the prescribed application form from the Agriculture Extension office.
They must complete the form, attach the required documents and submit it to the concerned Deputy Director Agriculture Extension office.
