Honor has launched the Watch 6 Pro, a more feature-focused addition to the Watch 6 lineup that trades some battery endurance for additional health, sports, and positioning features.
The standard Watch 6 measures 10.8mm thick and uses a 980mAh battery rated for up to 35 days of typical use, while the Watch 6 Plus increases capacity to 1,000mAh. The Watch 6 Pro instead uses a smaller 500mAh battery while adding a more advanced display and expanded health tracking.
Design and Display
The Honor Watch 6 Pro features a 1.5-inch dual-layer OLED display with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels.
The screen reaches 4,500 nits of peak global brightness and can increase to 5,500 nits when only a smaller portion of the display is illuminated.
The watch measures 46.3 × 46.3 × 11.6mm and uses a stainless steel body.
Some versions feature a two-tone ceramic finish that is sintered onto the stainless steel at 1,400°C, making it more durable than the painted finish used on other variants.
Honor offers the Watch 6 Pro in five color and strap combinations.
Health and Fitness
The Watch 6 Pro supports 24/7 heart rate variability tracking, a second-generation blood pressure monitoring system, and Continuous Glucose Monitoring blood sugar tracking.
It also includes crash detection and can trigger an emergency alert if it stops detecting a pulse during a cardiac arrest event.
Compared with the Watch 5 Pro, the main health upgrades include continuous HRV tracking, blood sugar monitoring, and cardiac arrest detection.
For sports, Honor includes Trail Running Mode, Professional Badminton Mode, and Professional Football Mode.
The watch can also be used while swimming, and its display can respond to wet fingers.
Battery
Honor has equipped the watch with its Polaris positioning system, which uses dual-frequency positioning and a three-antenna design.
The system is intended to maintain a stable signal in dense urban areas, while continuous positioning can run for up to 21 hours.
The 500mAh battery provides up to 7 days of use with Always On Display enabled.
Battery life drops to around 4 days when all health-monitoring features are enabled, while maximum battery mode extends usage to 18 days.
Pricing
The stainless steel Honor Watch 6 Pro is in China for around $240.
The version with the sintered ceramic finish costs around $270.
