Honor Play 11 Pro Arrives With 7,000mAh Battery, 6,500nit OLED

Honor has quietly launched the Honor Play 11 Pro in China, expanding its Play-series smartphone lineup with a large battery, a 120Hz OLED display and a slim design.

The Play 11 Pro follows the Honor Play 11 Plus, which was introduced in China in May.

Based on its specifications and design, the Play 11 Pro also appears to be a rebranded version of the existing Honor X80i.

Design and Display

The Honor Play 11 Pro features a 6.6-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel has a claimed peak brightness of 6,500 nits and a 95 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Honor has also included 3840Hz PWM dimming, which is designed to reduce flickering and provide a more comfortable viewing experience, particularly in low-light conditions.

The phone has an integrated metal frame and measures just 7.34mm thick, while weighing 185 grams. It also carries an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance and has received SGS five-star drop resistance certification.

Internals and Software

The Play 11 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6500 chipset. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

There is no microSD card slot for expanding the storage.

On the software side, the phone runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 out of the box.

Cameras

For photography, the Honor Play 11 Pro has a 50-megapixel primary rear camera.

The phone also features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Battery

One of the biggest highlights of the Honor Play 11 Pro is its 7,000mAh battery. The phone supports 45W wired charging.

Honor says the battery can retain at least 80 percent of its original capacity after 1,000 charging cycles. The company claims this could translate to around six years of long-term battery durability.

Despite the large battery, the phone remains relatively slim at 7.34mm and weighs 185 grams.

Pricing

The Honor Play 11 Pro is currently available in China in an 8GB + 256GB configuration priced at $310. The phone is offered in Moon Silver, Sunrise Gold, and Midnight Black.

Pakistan Launch?

Honor has not yet announced an international launch for the Play 11 Pro. A Pakistan launch is therefore unconfirmed at this stage. However, if Honor decides to bring the phone to other markets, including Pakistan, its local price is likely to differ from the direct yuan conversion because of taxes, duties, and other market costs.
