The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has rescheduled the Higher Education Aptitude Test (HAT) for overseas scholarships to Saturday, September 19, 2026. The test was previously set for Sunday, September 27.
According to HEC’s notice, the revised date applies to applicants under the Overseas Scholarships for MS/MPhil Leading to PhD in Selected Fields Phase III, Batch IV programme.
HEC cited administrative reasons and unavoidable circumstances for the change. It asked applicants to note the new date and make arrangements accordingly.
HEC invited applications for MS/MPhil and PhD scholarships through an advertisement on August 9, 2026. It issued a corrigendum/addendum on August 20, 2026.
HEC confirmed that all other terms, conditions, and details of the earlier advertisement and corrigendum/addendum remain unchanged.
