Eligibility Criteria
Project Director PPS-09
The Project Director position is part of the project awarding 3,000 Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships to Afghan students under the Prime Minister’s directive.
Applicants must hold a master’s degree involving 16 years of education, or an equivalent qualification, with at least a second division from an HEC-recognized university or institution. They must have seven years of experience in a reputable public or private organization, including five years of managerial experience after their final degree.
Law Officer PPS-08
The Law Officer vacancy falls under the Overseas Scholarship for PhD in Selected Fields project, Phase III.
Candidates must have an LLB or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university or institution. They also need five years of experience as a practicing lawyer in services or corporate law. Good spoken and written communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
Project Manager PPS-08
This position is under the PhD Scholarship Program through the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor, Phase I.
Applicants must hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree involving 16 years of education, or an equivalent qualification, with at least a second division from an HEC-recognized institution. They need at least five years of experience in a reputable public or private organization, including three years in a managerial or supervisory role. Project Manager PPS-07
HEC has announced two Project Manager positions under its Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, Phase III.
Candidates must have a master’s or bachelor’s degree involving 16 years of education, or an equivalent qualification, with at least a second division from an HEC-recognized institution. They need five years of relevant experience, including two years in middle management after their final degree, in public or private organizations. Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project skills are also required.
Project Accountant PPS-07
The Project Accountant will work under the Faculty Development Program for Pakistani Universities.
Applicants must have an MBA in Finance, MCom, or CMA involving 16 years of education, with at least a second division from an HEC-recognized institution. They need three years of experience in a reputable public or private organization, including one year of middle-management experience after their final degree.
Office Assistant PPS-05
The two Office Assistant positions fall under the Faculty Development Program for Pakistani Universities and the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor PhD Scholarship Program, Phase I.
Candidates must hold a graduation qualification involving 14 years of education, with at least a second division from an HEC-recognized institution. They also need two years of work experience in a reputable public or private organization and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Attendant PPS-01
The Attendant position is under the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor PhD Scholarship Program, Phase I. Applicants must have passed Matric and possess one year of relevant experience.
Age Relaxation and Experience Rules
The advertised maximum age limits already include five years of general age relaxation. HEC will allow any further relaxation under government rules.
HEC will count experience gained after applicants obtained the minimum required qualification. Part-time work, honorary service, apprenticeships, and internships completed as part of studies will not count toward the required experience.
Applicants already working in government service must apply through the proper channel.
Selection Process and Test Centers
HEC will assess applications using the information candidates provide in their online profiles. Only shortlisted applicants will receive interview calls.
Tests will take place at the nearest possible location for candidates. The advertisement lists Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar as test locations.
HEC will not pay travel or daily allowances for attending a test or interview. It also reserves the right to reject any or all applications without giving a reason and to increase or reduce the number of vacancies.
