The Ministry of Religious Affairs has activated the Hajj portal to receive applications from institutions and privately registered companies seeking to sponsor Hajj for their low-income employees under the labour quota for Hajj 2027.
A ministry spokesperson said institutions can sponsor Hajj for eligible employees at their own expense.
He said only low-income employees, industrial workers, miners and other eligible labourers can benefit from the quota.
The spokesperson added that institutions and companies must submit applications online through the Hajj portal.
The applying company or institution will first create an account on the portal and enter the details of the employees concerned.
He said Hajj dues can only be deposited from the account of the respective company or institution.
According to the spokesperson, applications for the Hajj 2027 labour quota will be accepted until October 10 on a first-come, first-served basis.
