Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp decrease after an abrupt decline in international prices on Thursday.
Before today, the per tola price of gold had increased by Rs. 36,000.
The per tola rate decreased by Rs. 3,500 to reach Rs. 460,436 according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs. 3,001, reaching Rs. 394,749.
On Wednesday, gold rose by Rs. 4,200 to Rs. 463,936 per tola.
In the international market, gold prices lost $35 to $4,380 per ounce.
Silver prices also decreased by Rs. 175 to reach Rs. 6,936 per tola on Thursday.
