Gold Likely to Cross Rs. 5 Lac in Pakistan Soon

Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply on Saturday, following another increase in international gold prices.

The price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs. 5,700 to Rs. 482,936 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

A trader told ProPakistani that gold may cross Rs. 5 lac again in the coming days if current trends persist.

The price of 10 gram gold also increased by Rs. 4,972 to Rs. 414,039.

Gold had gained Rs. 5,200 per tola on Friday, reaching Rs. 477,136.

In the international market, gold increased by $57 to $4,604 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained on the same level observed on Friday. Rates closed at Rs. 7,379 per tola for the week.
