The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has announced online merit-based walk-in admissions for 2026. Applications will open on the night of September 11 and close on September 15.
According to the university’s notice, candidates must complete the admission process online, including challan generation and application submission. Applicants can choose one programme, campus and category within their merit.
UET will consider applications based on merit and available seats, using the fourth merit list as the baseline.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates who previously applied for leftover seats but did not secure a seat on merit can apply free of charge.
Those who have already secured a seat can also apply. However, they must generate and pay a new challan of Rs. 3,000. The same payment requirement applies to candidates who did not submit an application earlier.

How to Apply for UET Lahore Walk-In Admissions
Candidates should visit the UET Lahore admission portal and complete the online application process. Those required to pay the application charge must generate and pay a new Rs. 3,000 challan.
Each applicant can select only one discipline or programme, along with its campus and category. The selected option must fall within the candidate’s merit, based on the fourth merit list.
Applicants may select their preferred department even if no seat is currently available. UET says cancellations could create vacancies. However, applying does not guarantee admission.
Merit Lists and Seat Allocation
UET will process applications every Friday and issue subsequent merit lists on Fridays. Selection will depend on merit, available seats, and vacancies created through cancellations.
