FPSC Stops Hiring in KP

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has postponed its General Recruitment Tests scheduled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from October 12 to October 19, 2026.

The commission announced the decision in a public notice issued on October 11, 2026.

According to the FPSC, the postponement applies to the Phase-III/2026 General Recruitment Tests in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including examination centers in Peshawar and Dera Ismail Khan.

The commission said it delayed the tests due to the prevailing situation in the province. It also cited requests received from candidates and local invigilation staff.

However, FPSC recruitment tests scheduled in other provinces and areas will proceed according to the previously announced timetable.

Revised Schedule

The FPSC said it will issue a revised schedule for the postponed tests in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at a later date.

Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official FPSC website for further updates regarding new test dates and related instructions.

The notice only affects the specified General Recruitment Tests in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and does not change the schedule for examinations elsewhere in Pakistan.
