The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has invited online applications for the MCQ-Based Preliminary Test (MPT) for CSS 2027.
Candidates can apply until August 20, 2026, while the test will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in 19 cities. Passing the MPT is compulsory for anyone planning to appear in the main CSS Competitive Examination 2027.
Applicants should apply well before the deadline, as incorrect or incomplete information may lead to rejection.
Test Date and Deadline
Online applications will remain open from August 3 to August 20, 2026. The MPT is scheduled for September 27, 2026.
Candidates should choose their test centre carefully because FPSC will not allow a change after the application is submitted.
How to Apply
Candidates must apply through the official FPSC website. They need to create an account, complete their profile and fill out the MPT 2027 application form.
The application fee is Rs. 250. Applicants must generate a 16-digit PSID and pay through 1-Link using an ATM, mobile banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, internet banking or a member bank.
After paying the fee, candidates must log in again and complete the remaining application steps. Payment alone will not count as a submitted application.
Admission Certificate
Admission certificates will be available on the FPSC website at least 10 days before the examination. Candidates will have to download them online, as FPSC will not send a separate notice.
