Federal Board Issues Detailed Class 9th Results 2026

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the Class 9 SSC Part I Result 2026. The First Annual Examination result was declared at 11:15 AM on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

According to the official 1,859-page gazette, 150,077 candidates were enrolled and 148,311 appeared in the examination. A total of 88,646 students passed, taking the overall pass rate to 59.77 percent.

The 2026 result also marks the introduction of a revised grading system for SSC Part I. Students now need at least 40 percent marks in each paper to receive a grade. Those securing less than 40 percent in a subject will be declared ungraded in that paper.

Science and Humanities Group Performance

Science Group students recorded better results in both regular and ex-private categories.

Girls vs Boys in FBISE Class 9 Result

Girls performed better than boys despite having fewer candidates in the examination.

Girls recorded a pass rate of approximately 64.55 percent, compared with 55.28 percent for boys. The female pass rate was 9.27 percentage points higher.

A total of 46,384 girls passed, which was 4,122 more than the number of successful boys, despite 4,877 fewer female candidates being enrolled.

How to Check the FBISE 9th Class Result

Students can check their individual results through the FBISE website by entering their roll numbers in the result section.

The result can also be checked through SMS. Type FB, leave a space, add the roll number and send the message to 5050.

How to Search the Result Gazette

Students can download the SSC Part I gazette from the result section of the FBISE website. After opening the PDF on a computer, press Ctrl + F and enter the complete roll number.

Mobile users can open the gazette in a PDF reader and use the search icon. Searching by roll number is more reliable because several candidates may have the same name.

Result Cards and Second Annual Examination

Result cards of regular candidates are being sent as PDF files to the heads of their institutions. Ex-private candidates in Pakistan will receive their result cards on the mobile numbers provided in their admission forms. Overseas candidates will receive them through their institutions.

Unfair Means Cases

FBISE reported 24 unfair means cases in the SSC Part I examination. All concerned candidates were given an opportunity for a personal hearing, and the cases were decided by the board.

Affected candidates can file an appeal with the FBISE Chairman within 30 days of the notification. The appeal fee is Rs. 1,000 for local candidates and $50 for foreign candidates.

No Separate Class 9 Position-Holder List

The official SSC Part I gazette does not contain a separate position-holder list for Class 9. Students should not rely on unverified topper names, marks or roll numbers circulating on social media.
