The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the detailed Class 10 SSC-II First Annual Examination Results 2026. The result was released at 11:15 AM on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
According to the official result gazette, 141,653 candidates were enrolled, while 140,226 appeared in the examinations. A total of 128,070 students passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 91.33%. Meanwhile, 868 candidates remained absent, 12,665 failed, 559 results were placed under Result Later, and 50 were withheld.
Regular candidates recorded a much stronger pass rate of 95.69%, compared with 61.21% among ex-private candidates. Girls also performed better than boys, securing an overall pass rate of 94.04%, while the pass rate among boys stood at 88.74%.

Regular and Private Candidate Results
Regular students produced the strongest overall performance. Out of 123,125 enrolled regular candidates, 117,218 passed, giving this category a pass rate of 95.69%.
The ex-private category had 18,528 enrolled candidates. A total of 10,852 candidates passed, while its overall success rate remained at 61.21%.

Science and Humanities Group Results
Regular Science Group candidates achieved the highest pass percentage among the main categories. Out of 110,543 candidates who appeared, 106,019 passed, resulting in a success rate of 95.91%.
Regular Humanities Group students also performed well, with a pass percentage of 93.68%. Among ex-private candidates, Humanities students recorded a higher pass rate than Science students.
Girls vs Boys in FBISE Class 10 Result
Girls performed better than boys in the SSC-II First Annual Examination 2026. After combining all groups and candidate categories listed in the gazette, girls secured a pass percentage of 94.04%, compared with 88.74% for boys.
Despite having 3,054 fewer appearances, girls recorded 926 more successful candidates than boys.
Area-Wise FBISE Class 10 Results
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recorded the highest regional pass percentage at 97.89%. It was followed by Sindh at 96.97%, Balochistan at 96.81%, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir at 95.62%.
The Federal Area had the largest number of unsuccessful candidates among the listed regions and recorded a pass percentage of 86.78%.

Passing Marks for FBISE Class 10 in 2026
The minimum passing requirement for SSC-II students remains 33% in 2026. The revised 40% passing requirement does not apply to Class 10 candidates appearing in the First Annual Examination 2026.
FBISE’s new grading system and 40% passing requirement will be introduced for SSC-II from the First Annual Examination 2027. This is why the 2026 Class 10 gazette still shows the existing A1-to-E grade structure.

- Open the result section.
- Select SSC-II First Annual Examination 2026.
- Enter the required roll number.
- Submit the details to view the result.
- Download or print the result card for personal record.
How to Check the Result by SMS
Students can also receive their results through SMS. Type FB, leave a space and enter the roll number. Send the message to 5050.
Unfair Means Cases
FBISE reported 62 unfair means cases in the SSC-II First Annual Examination 2026. The candidates were provided an opportunity for a hearing, and the cases were decided under the board’s examination rules.
Final Result Summary
The detailed figures show a strong overall FBISE Class 10 result, with more than nine out of every ten candidates passing the examination. Regular students recorded the highest success rate, while girls remained ahead of boys across all major groups.
