FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan Limited (PSX: FCEPL) has appointed Usman Zaheer Ahmad as its new Chief Executive Officer, days after he resigned as CEO of Fauji Foods Limited (PSX: FFL).
The appointment was approved by the Board of Directors of FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan, formerly known as Engro Foods Limited, according to a notice sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday.
The company said Zaheer Ahmad’s joining date will be announced soon.
The appointment comes shortly after Fauji Foods disclosed that Zaheer Ahmad had resigned as its CEO, effective September 18, 2026. The company had said he would continue performing his duties during his notice period, in line with its policy, while the Board would appoint his successor.
Zaheer Ahmad had served as Fauji Foods’ CEO since March 2022. Before joining Fauji Foods, he served as CEO of Nishat Sutas Dairy and held senior positions in the consumer goods sector, including roles at Engro Foods and British American Tobacco.
Fauji Foods is part of the Fauji Group and has a portfolio that includes dairy and food products such as Nurpur and Dostea.
FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan, listed as FCEPL on the PSX, operates major dairy brands including Olper’s.
