The Punjab Council of Arts, Faisalabad, and the Chiniot district administration sealed a theatre hall after finding several violations of an approved programme, rules and regulations, and irregularities in promotional material during a joint inspection.
A spokesman for the arts council said on Tuesday that the action was taken as part of ongoing monitoring to ensure compliance with the code of conduct and other legal and administrative requirements governing theatrical activities.
During the inspection, the authorities found several violations, including breaches of the approved play and prescribed theatre rules and regulations, as well as irregularities in promotional and publicity material.
