Balochistan Raises Upper Age Limit for Government Jobs
The Balochistan government has announced a general relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates applying for government jobs, allowing eligible applicants to benefit from an increased age limit.
Under the new notification, the maximum age limit for general candidates, persons with disabilities and legal heirs of martyrs has been set at 43 years.
The government has set a higher upper age limit of 50 years for government employees who have completed at least two years of continuous government service. However, the new age relaxation will not apply to government posts for which the maximum age limit was already set below 43 years.
A Balochistan government spokesperson said candidates will not receive any additional age relaxation beyond the newly announced limit. The new age relaxation will remain effective for three years from the date of issuance of the notification.
