CDA to Spend Rs. 300 Million on PM Office and Staff Colony

The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the federal cabinet on Thursday approved a Rs. 300 million Technical Supplementary Grant (TSG) for the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to cover essential repair and maintenance work at the Prime Minister’s Office and Prime Minister’s Staff Colony.

The funding was approved after the committee deliberated on a summary submitted by the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control.

The amount will cover repair and maintenance requirements during fiscal year 2026-27 for the Prime Minister’s Office and the staff residential facility.

ECC also approved Rs. 150 million for the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination to meet requirements related to Pakistan’s participation in the 31st Conference of the Parties (COP31) in Antalya, Türkiye.

Another Rs. 934.481 million was approved for the Pakistan Sports Endowment Fund Scheme 2025 under the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination. The funding will support the operationalization of the fund under its approved framework.

The committee also approved Rs. 1.666 billion to provide short-term training in China to 1,000 agricultural professionals.
