CDA Accuses Galaxy Enclave Islamabad of Illegal Development

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a show-cause notice to Galaxy Enclave in Islamabad’s Zone-4 over alleged violations of planning and development rules.

The authority said development work and structures at the Lehtrar Road housing scheme were allegedly carried out without an approved Layout Plan (LOP) and No Objection Certificate (NOC).

CDA has ordered the developer to immediately stop development, marketing, sale and purchase, allotment and transfer activities related to the scheme.

Galaxy Enclave has been given seven days to respond to the notice and remove or demolish the alleged unauthorized works and structures.

The CDA warned that failure to comply could lead to demolition of illegal structures and sealing of the scheme and site offices.

The authority also said police assistance could be used to enforce the action, with the costs recovered from those responsible for the unauthorized development.

The CDA has directed its relevant departments to prepare for action against structures allegedly built in violation of approved plans or on land designated for public buildings and other amenities.

The notice was issued under the CDA Ordinance 1960 and applicable Islamabad zoning and private housing scheme regulations.

ProPakistani reached out to Galaxy Enclave for their official response on the matter. It will be shared here when received,
