Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah has said that Burns Road will be transformed into a modern, well-organized and attractive food street.
He made the remarks during a visit to Burns Road and surrounding areas to inspect ongoing development, road construction, rehabilitation and beautification work.
During the visit, the chief secretary inspected development activities at various locations and received updates from relevant officials on their progress.
He directed authorities to speed up the work and complete the projects within the stipulated timeframe without compromising construction quality.
Asif Hyder Shah also ordered improvements to roads, civic facilities and the overall environment while preserving Burns Road’s historical identity and cultural character. He reviewed the encroachment situation in the area and directed relevant authorities to take effective and coordinated action against encroachments.
