The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 242nd consecutive day on Thursday.
More importantly, the British Pound (GBP) could drop below Rs. 370 if current energy commodity aftershocks persist across Europe and the Gulf, a day trader told ProPakistani.
The PKR closed at 277.26 after gaining one paisa against the US Dollar today.
The rupee has consistently reported gains against the dollar since December 25, 2025.
Other Currencies
The rupee gained Rs. 2 against the British Pound (GBP) and 42 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD).
It gained Rs. 2 against the Euro (EUR) and 75 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD).
PKR remained stable against the UAE Dirham (AED) and gained one paisa against the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
