The official gazette shows that 124,430 students enrolled for the examination. Of these, 121,739 appeared and 45,724 passed. The overall pass percentage stood at 37.56%.
A total of 2,354 students remained absent, while the board cancelled 337 enrolments.

Male and Female Students’ Results
The gazette provides separate performance figures for male and female candidates.
A total of 58,721 male students appeared in the examination, and 16,436 passed. Their pass percentage was 27.99%.
Among female candidates, 63,018 appeared and 29,288 passed. The female pass percentage stood at 46.48%.

Chakwal recorded the highest district-level pass percentage at 42.2%. Talagang followed with 39.2%, while Rawalpindi district posted a pass rate of 39%.
Rawalpindi had the largest number of candidates, with 47,769 students appearing in the examination.

Regular and Private Candidates’ Performance
Students from affiliated institutions recorded a higher pass rate than candidates from government institutions and private applicants.
A total of 70,317 students from government institutions appeared, and 21,677 passed. Their combined pass percentage was 30.82%.
Affiliated institutions recorded 34,844 candidates, of whom 21,050 passed. This category achieved a pass percentage of 60.41%.
Among private candidates, 16,578 appeared and 2,997 passed, producing a pass rate of 18.07%.

Science Group Result
The Science Group had 87,499 candidates. A total of 37,593 passed, placing the group’s overall pass percentage at 43%.
Female students achieved a pass rate of 57%, with 22,734 successful candidates out of 39,894 who appeared.
Among male students, 47,605 appeared and 14,859 passed. Their pass percentage was 31.2%.
Regular Science Group candidates recorded a pass percentage of 46.1%. The pass rate for private Science Group candidates was 20.51%.
