The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has released the 12th Class Result Gazette 2026 for the HSSC First Annual Examination.
According to the official gazette, 62,233 candidates were enrolled, while 61,409 appeared in the examination. A total of 36,896 candidates passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 60.08%.
The board also recorded 795 absent candidates and 29 cancelled cases. The result was issued on September 23, 2026.
The gazette covers candidates from Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Talagang and Murree districts.

Female Candidates Record Higher Pass Percentage
Female candidates recorded a considerably higher pass percentage than male candidates.
A total of 39,588 female candidates appeared, while 26,744 passed. Their pass percentage stood at 67.56%.
Among male candidates, 21,821 appeared and 10,152 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 46.52%.

Regular candidates recorded a stronger overall result than private candidates.
Candidates from government institutions recorded 17,289 appearances, of whom 11,649 passed, producing a pass percentage of 67.37%.
Affiliated institutions recorded 28,038 candidates who appeared, while 18,996 passed. Their pass percentage stood at 67.75%.
Among private candidates, 16,082 appeared and 6,251 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 38.86%.

Pre-Engineering followed with a 67.50% pass rate, while Commerce recorded 61.02%.
Science General stood at 59.36%, and Humanities recorded 53.30%.

Talagang recorded the highest overall district pass percentage at 63.31%, with 2,563 candidates passing out of 4,048 who appeared.
Chakwal followed at 62.18%, while Jhelum recorded 61.71% and Attock stood at 61.21%.
Rawalpindi district recorded a 59.40% pass rate, while Murree stood at 41.13%.
