The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has released the official result gazette for the Secondary School Certificate First Annual Examination 2026.
According to the gazette, a total of 285,587 candidates applied for the examination, while 282,308 appeared. Of these, 182,186 students passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 64.53 percent.
The SSC First Annual Examination started on March 27, 2026. Theory papers concluded on May 8, while practical examinations were completed on July 6. The board officially announced the result on August 6, 2026.
Science Group Result
A total of 217,482 candidates appeared in the Science Group, including regular and private students. Of these, 150,566 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 69.23 percent.
Regular Science candidates recorded a significantly higher pass rate of 82.50 percent. In comparison, the pass percentage among private Science candidates stood at 53.18 percent.
Girls also performed better than boys in the Science Group. The overall pass percentage for girls was 77.83 percent, while boys recorded a pass rate of 60.21 percent.
Humanities Group Result
In the Humanities Group, 64,826 candidates appeared and 31,620 passed. The overall pass percentage for the group remained 48.78 percent.
Regular Humanities candidates achieved a pass percentage of 61.29 percent, compared with 39.38 percent among private candidates.
The gender-wise statistics also showed a considerable difference. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 57.02 percent, while the pass rate among boys stood at 32.51 percent.
BISE Lahore Result Gazette
The BISE Lahore Class 10 result gazette contains the combined examination records of regular and private candidates. Students, teachers, parents, and educational institutions can use the PDF document to search for results by roll number or name.
The gazette also includes group-wise performance, gender-wise results, grade distribution, and subject-wise pass percentages.
Successful candidates’ marks have been listed according to the old course carrying 1,100 marks and the new course carrying 1,200 marks.
Regular students will receive their result cards through their respective institutions. Result information for private candidates will be sent to the home addresses provided in their admission records.
Candidates who want to apply for paper rechecking can submit an online request within 15 days of the result announcement.
The SSC Second Annual Examination 2026 is scheduled to begin on October 6, 2026. Forms with a single fee can be submitted from August 7 to August 19.
