The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Gujranwala has released the official result gazette for the Secondary School Certificate First Annual Examination 2026.
According to the gazette, a total of 245,728 candidates applied for the examination, while 242,192 appeared. Of these, 168,266 candidates passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 69.48 percent.
The SSC First Annual Examination started on March 27, 2026. Written and theory papers concluded on April 16, while practical examinations continued until July 7. The board officially announced the result on August 6, 2026.
Science Group Result
A total of 180,090 candidates appeared in the Science Group, including regular and private students. Of these, 130,467 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 72.45 percent.
Regular Science candidates recorded a significantly higher pass rate of 81.22 percent. A total of 119,293 regular candidates appeared, while 96,892 passed.
Among private Science candidates, 60,797 appeared and 33,575 passed, producing a pass percentage of 55.22 percent.
Girls also performed better than boys in the Science Group. A total of 96,460 female candidates appeared, while 76,490 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of approximately 79.30 percent.
Among boys, 83,630 candidates appeared and 53,977 passed, taking their pass percentage to approximately 64.54 percent.
General Group Result
In the General Group, 61,448 candidates appeared and 37,466 passed. The overall pass percentage for the group stood at 60.97 percent.
Regular General Group candidates achieved a pass percentage of 69.07 percent, with 24,607 successful candidates out of 35,626 who appeared.
Private candidates recorded a pass percentage of 49.80 percent. A total of 25,822 private candidates appeared, while 12,859 passed.
Female candidates again achieved a stronger result. Out of 44,692 girls who appeared in the General Group, 29,857 passed, producing a pass percentage of approximately 66.81 percent.
Among boys, 16,756 appeared and 7,609 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of approximately 45.41 percent.
BISE Gujranwala Result Gazette
The BISE Gujranwala Class 10 result gazette contains the combined examination records of regular and private candidates. Students, teachers, parents, and educational institutions can use the PDF document to search for results by roll number or name.
The gazette also includes group-wise performance, gender-wise results, grade distribution, position holders, subject-wise pass percentages, and disciplinary-action details.
Successful candidates are listed with their obtained marks, while subject abbreviations appear against candidates who could not clear one or more papers.
The results cover both the old examination scheme carrying 1,100 marks and the new scheme carrying 1,200 marks.
Original certificates of successful regular candidates will be sent to their respective institutions. Certificates of private candidates will be dispatched to the home addresses provided in their admission records.
Candidates planning to appear again can submit admission forms with a single fee from August 7 to August 19. Forms with a double fee will be accepted from August 20 to August 25, while the triple-fee period will run from August 26 to August 29, 2026.
