The Balochistan government has launched a telehealth application, “Sehat Dehleez,” to provide free medical consultations with qualified doctors to people across the province, particularly those in remote areas.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti announced the initiative in a statement on X, saying the service received an encouraging response in its first 24 hours.
The platform received 791 consultation calls on its first day, while 495 consultations were completed. A total of 718 calls included location information, reaching people across 35 districts.
The chief minister said the initiative aims to make healthcare more accessible to people in remote areas who struggle to reach medical facilities, especially during extreme weather.

“The overwhelming response to Sehat Dehleez across Balochistan is a clear reflection of the trust and confidence of our people,” he said.
The application offers free consultations with qualified doctors around the clock, covering general health, maternal and child health, and guidance on common illnesses.
The People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) Balochistan introduced the service to improve access to timely medical advice through digital technology.
The platform enables residents to consult doctors from home, reducing the need to travel for those in areas with limited healthcare access.
Residents can access Sehat Dehleez through its web application and Android app by scanning the QR codes provided by the organization.
