Pakistan Test captain Babar Azam has returned to the ICC Test batting rankings top 10 after a gap of two years.
Babar Azam climbed five places to 10th following his strong performance in Pakistan’s eight-wicket win over the West Indies in Port of Spain. He scored 88 runs in the first innings and remained unbeaten on 24 in the second.

Abdullah Shafique also made a major jump in the latest rankings, rising 25 places to 32nd after his match-winning performance.
The opener scored an unbeaten 160 in the Test and followed it with 24 in the second innings to earn the Player of the Match award.
Pakistan also made gains in the ICC Test bowling rankings.
Sajid Khan moved up five places to 30th, while Mohammad Ali climbed eight spots to 85th. Left-arm spinner Ali Usman made the biggest jump, rising 58 places to 97th.
