In addition to the new security products, Apple announced the launch of a new Apple HomePod Mini smart speaker, a new Apple TV 4K streaming device, and the Apple HomeView, all of which are available for preorder.
In a press release, Apple said that every piece of the Apple Home Collection can be set up with a single tap from an iPhone and managed with the Apple Home app and the new Siri AI. This is the second major product launch under the company’s new CEO John Ternus, following the September iPhone launch event.
“Apple Home Collection makes it easy to choose smart home accessories with confidence,” said Matthew Costello, Apple VP of Hardware Engineering, in a press release. “Working closely with industry leaders LG Electronics and Schneider Electric, we designed every accessory to work seamlessly with Apple Home, so managing your home is simple, reliable, and private.”
