Apple TV appears to be rolling out in Pakistan, as users can now pay for and successfully activate an Apple TV subscription using a Pakistani account.
Sources available to ProPakistani have confirmed that they were able to subscribe to the service in Pakistan for Rs. 200 per month.
The subscription went through successfully, and Apple sent an official confirmation showing the active Apple TV subscription, its monthly price and renewal details.
The Apple account settings also show the subscription as active at Rs. 200 per month, with support for Family Sharing with up to five other people.
Subscription Works, But Videos Don’t Play Yet
There is one major catch: Apple TV is still not directly accessible in Pakistan without using a VPN.
With a VPN, users can open the service and browse the Apple TV catalog, including available movies and shows. However, videos are currently not playing, even though the subscription itself is active.
This means the subscription and payment system is already active in Pakistan, but video streaming has not yet been fully enabled.
The development strongly indicates that Apple TV is in the process of becoming available in Pakistan, with the Rs. 200 monthly subscription already accessible ahead of full streaming functionality.
