Apple has officially scheduled its next major product event for September 9, 2026, where it is expected to introduce the iPhone 18 Pro series alongside its first-ever foldable iPhone.
The event will begin at 10 AM Pacific Time at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. Apple will also livestream the keynote online.
Apple is promoting the event with the tagline “Surprise and Shine”, accompanied by a glowing Apple logo with light appearing to shine through it.

iPhone 18 Pro Series
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max during the event.
The two phones are expected to retain the overall design language of the iPhone 17 Pro series while introducing several hardware upgrades.
Rumors point to Apple’s new A20 Pro chipset, a smaller Dynamic Island, upgraded cellular connectivity with a new Apple modem, and improvements to the camera system.
A variable-aperture main camera has also been widely rumored, although some reports suggest the feature could be exclusive to the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Apple is also expected to introduce new colors, including Dark Cherry and Sky Blue.
Apple’s First Foldable iPhone
The biggest announcement could be Apple’s long-awaited foldable smartphone, which has been widely rumored under the iPhone Ultra name.
The book-style foldable is expected to feature an outer display measuring approximately 5.5 inches and an inner screen measuring around 7.67 inches with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
Reports suggest Apple could use Touch ID integrated into the power button instead of Face ID on the foldable.
It is also expected to offer an interface designed to take advantage of the larger folding display, potentially providing a more iPad-like experience when opened.
The final product name remains unconfirmed, meaning Apple could ultimately use something other than iPhone Ultra.
More Apple Products Expected
New Apple Watch models are also expected during the September event, including the next-generation Apple Watch Series and Apple Watch Ultra.
Apple could announce additional accessories alongside the new iPhones as well.
