Zuma Resources Limited (PSX: ZUMA) has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary in the United Kingdom as part of its international expansion strategy and is moving toward launching SIM and digital connectivity services in the UK.
The company disclosed the development to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday, stating that Zuma Global Ltd was incorporated in the UK as a 100 percent owned subsidiary.
The subsidiary will develop and expand the group’s technology and global connectivity-related business in international markets.
Zuma Global Ltd was incorporated as a private company limited by shares on September 18, 2026, under the Companies Act 2006. Its registered office is in London, while its stated activities include information technology consultancy, other information technology services and telecommunications activities.
The UK company has 100 ordinary shares with a total nominal value of £100. All 100 shares are held by Zuma Resources Limited, confirming its wholly owned status. Sohaib Anwar is listed as the company’s director.
Zuma said it has also initiated formal regulatory engagement with the Office of Communications, the UK communications regulator, as part of the market entry process for digital and physical SIM services powered by its sim.market platform.
The company said its planned UK operations will offer digital eSIMs, physical SIMs and connectivity solutions through its technology platforms. It has also taken steps to align its operations, customer framework and digital platforms with applicable UK regulatory and consumer compliance requirements.
Zuma said the UK is expected to serve as an important market and operating base for its international expansion. The company plans to progressively introduce and market its SIM and related digital connectivity services in the UK, subject to applicable regulatory, commercial and technical requirements.
Several PSX-listed companies, including banks have already expanded into various business ventures in the UK.
