Speaking at the inauguration, Afridi thanked Abbottabad residents for supporting Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) in the elections.

He said the provincial government had allocated Rs. 200 billion under the Khushal Hazara Programme, with Rs. 150 billion earmarked for development projects and Rs. 50 billion for promoting tourism across the Hazara division.

The chief minister also announced Rs. 1.4 billion to address Abbottabad’s urban flooding problem and said sufficient funds had been allocated for the District Headquarters Hospital Abbottabad under the provincial government’s flagship program.

Afridi said the hospital project would be completed on a priority basis, noting that residents had been waiting for its completion.
