IESCO Announces Power Outages in Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a scheduled power outage in parts of Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Taxila, Kahuta, and surrounding areas on Friday due to maintenance and development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply will remain suspended in Rawalpindi Cantt Circle from 6:00 am to 10:00 am on the Sagri and Kallar Syedan feeders.
In Attock Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 5:00 am to 12:00 pm on the Hussain Abad, Lala Zar, and Industrial Estate Bather feeders.
In Chakwal Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm on the Jamal Wal, Mengan, Karyala, and KSM Unit-3 feeders.
IESCO also announced outages in areas served by the GSO Circle due to maintenance work at several 132kV grid stations. Power interruptions will affect Rawat-II, AWC HMC Taxila, Sangjani-Burhan, Kahuta City-Palandri, and New Wah-Bahtermore, along with their surrounding areas, during different timings between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
IESCO apologized for the temporary inconvenience and said electricity supply would be restored before the scheduled time if maintenance work is completed early.
