Real Madrid and England football star Jude Bellingham met Pakistan women’s cricket captain Fatima Sana during The Hundred at Edgbaston.
The two athletes shared a friendly interaction and posed for photographs. A video of their meeting later appeared on social media and attracted attention from cricket and football fans.
The meeting took place during Birmingham Phoenix’s double-header against Welsh Fire on Saturday, August 1. Bellingham attended the event as a co-owner of Birmingham Phoenix.
Fatima Sana represents Birmingham Phoenix in the women’s competition. She joined the franchise as an overseas player and became the first Pakistani woman selected to play in The Hundred.
The Pakistan all-rounder recently led the national team at the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup. She later joined Birmingham Phoenix after completing Pakistan’s ODI series against Sri Lanka.
Bellingham also spent time with Pakistan spinner Usman Tariq during the same event. Tariq bowled several deliveries to the Real Madrid midfielder before the two shared a hug.
The interactions brought football and cricket together and created a memorable moment for Pakistani sports fans.
