The University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, has opened admissions for three Associate Degree Programs (ADP) for the Fall 2026 session, offering students opportunities to study Computer Science, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence.
According to the university’s official admission announcement, the programs are available under a subsidized fee structure at UET Lahore’s Main Campus and its Extension Institute of AI, ML and Cyber Security in Model Town.
Students who have secured at least 50% marks in Intermediate or an equivalent qualification can apply, subject to the university’s eligibility requirements.
The university has set November 24, 2026, as the application deadline, while classes will begin on December 7, 2026.
Available Associate Degree Programs at UET Lahore
UET Lahore is offering three two-year Associate Degree Programs in computing and technology-related fields.
1: Associate Degree in Computer Science. The university is offering this program at its Main Campus in Lahore and the Extension Institute of AI, ML and Cyber Security at P-6, Model Town, Lahore.
2: Associate Degree in Data Science: Students can apply for this program at UET Lahore’s Main Campus.
3: Associate Degree in Artificial Intelligence: The university is offering this program at its Extension Institute of AI, ML and Cyber Security in Model Town, Lahore.
All three programs are part of the university’s Fall 2026 admission session and follow a financially subsidized fee structure.
Eligibility Criteria for UET Lahore Admissions
Applicants must have completed Intermediate or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks.
The university accepts candidates from FSc Pre-Engineering, FSc Pre-Medical, and Intermediate in Computer Science (ICS).
Students with Intermediate subject combinations involving Mathematics, Statistics and Physics, or Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, can also apply.
According to the advertisement, only candidates holding a Punjab domicile are eligible unless the university specifies otherwise.
Candidates belonging to non-Muslim minority communities can also apply under the Minority Quota, subject to the applicable admission rules and eligibility requirements.
How Will UET Lahore Calculate Admission Merit
The university will calculate admission merit based on candidates’ academic results.
For applicants holding Matriculation and Intermediate Part-I qualifications, the university will assign 75% weightage to Intermediate Part-I marks and 25% to Matriculation marks.
For A-Level applicants, UET Lahore will calculate merit using the corresponding IBCC equivalence score for their O-Level results.
Meanwhile, candidates applying with a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) will receive 100% merit weightage based on their combined first- and second-year marks.

Documents Required for Admission
Candidates selected for admission must present their original academic and other required documents to the university.
According to the advertisement, these include the original Matriculation certificate or equivalent qualification, Intermediate Part-I result, complete Intermediate certificate or equivalent qualification, and domicile certificate.
Applicants holding O-Level, A-Level, or other qualifications issued by examination systems outside Pakistani boards must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC).
The university may require additional documents from candidates applying under special admission categories.
