Aisha Steel Appoints New CEO After 12 Years
Aisha Steel Mills Limited has appointed Kashif Habib as its Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1, 2026, according to a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Tuesday.
He replaces Dr. Munir Ahmed, the company said in its November 3 disclosure.
The company informed the exchange of the appointment and requested that its members be notified accordingly.
Kashif Habib’s appointment marks a leadership transition within the Arif Habib Group, where he already serves as chief executive of Power Cement and as a non-executive director of Aisha Steel. Outgoing CEO, Dr. Munir Ahmed joined Aisha Steel Mills Limited in October 2014 and served as its CEO for more than 12 years. He also held senior research and industrial project positions at Dr. A.Q. Khan Research Laboratories and was awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz for his contributions to metallurgy.
