HEC Digitally Attests Over 139,000 Academic Documents

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has processed 73,146 degree attestation applications covering 139,021 academic documents through its paperless online system since its launch on May 11, 2026.

The system allows graduates to obtain digitally attested degrees without visiting HEC offices or submitting original documents, according to official documents.

Applicants can complete the attestation process online and download electronic certificates directly from their HEC dashboards. Employers, educational institutions and other stakeholders can verify the certificates through the commission’s official verification portal.

The digital service aims to simplify degree attestation for graduates seeking credentials for employment, further education and other professional or administrative purposes.

By replacing conventional paperwork and physical document handling with online processing, the system reduces the need for office visits and simplifies access to attestation services. The HEC’s processing of more than 139,000 academic documents since the launch reflects the scale of the initiative as the commission moves towards paperless service delivery.
