According to an NCCIA official, the inspection aimed to ensure that the vehicle meets the agency’s practical needs and supports the efficient performance of its official duties.
The assessment focused on the vehicle’s overall condition, build quality, and usefulness for the agency’s day-to-day operations.
The official said the inspection was intended to determine whether the vehicle could effectively meet the agency’s requirements and contribute to improving its operational efficiency.
The BYD Atto 2 is an electric SUV, adding an electric vehicle to the agency’s transport resources. However, the NCCIA has not disclosed further details about the number of vehicles provided or their procurement cost.
Islamabad Traffic Police previously inducted BYD Atto 2 vehicles into its fleet, while Islamabad Police received 50 new BYD electric cars in September 2026 for Capital Patrol Unit operations and traffic duties.
