British-Pakistani Racer Secures Ferrari Academy Spot for Young Protégé
British-Pakistani racing driver and motorsport entrepreneur Enaam Ahmed has secured a place at the Ferrari Driver Academy for his young protégé, Daniel Miron Lorente, after a year of intensive coaching and development.
Ahmed announced the agreement on social media after personally negotiating the deal. He has managed, coached and mentored Lorente over the past 12 months through his driver development program.

The academy develops promising young drivers for the highest levels of international motorsport, including Formula 1. Lorente’s admission marks a milestone for Ahmed’s work in developing racing talent.
Under Ahmed’s guidance, Lorente won this year’s Champions of the Future series, a major international karting championship featuring some of the world’s most promising young drivers.
Ahmed said his long-term goal is to help Lorente advance through the motorsport ranks and potentially secure a Formula 1 seat with Ferrari.
Ahmed has represented Pakistan on international racing circuits and became the country’s first karting world champion. Geo News credits his karting achievements with surpassing records associated with Formula 1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.
He also became Pakistan’s first high-level Formula championship winner by claiming the British Formula 3 title. His 13 victories in one season exceeded Ayrton Senna’s tally from his British Formula 3 championship-winning campaign.
