Karachi Airport Extends Mandatory Vaccination Deadline
Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport has extended the deadline for enforcing mandatory vaccination checks for Umrah pilgrims and other passengers traveling to Saudi Arabia, giving travelers an additional month to meet the requirement.
Under the revised schedule, airport authorities will begin enforcing the requirement at 10 a.m. on November 20. Officials had previously set October 15 as the deadline, after which passengers would not be allowed to travel without a vaccination card.
According to the circular, passengers must receive the required vaccinations at least 10 days before departure. A government dispensary at Karachi airport has been providing vaccination services around the clock to facilitate travelers.
Authorities have also made emergency vaccination services available in the airport’s departure lounge for pilgrims and other passengers arriving from distant areas.
The extension gives travelers additional time to obtain the required vaccinations before their journeys to Saudi Arabia. Passengers should ensure they carry their vaccination cards and complete the process within the required timeframe to avoid travel disruptions.
