Lahore Traffic police have identified a car involved in drifting and reckless behavior after reviewing a video uploaded to social media.
A traffic police spokesperson said the footage shows the driver performing dangerous stunts in the vehicle. The identification comes amid an ongoing crackdown on drifting and dangerous driving ordered by Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Abdul Rahim Shirazi.
Dangerous Drivers Face Cases and Arrests
Shirazi said police would register cases against drivers who put people’s lives at risk through reckless driving and dangerous stunts.
He added that police would identify the vehicles involved and arrest those responsible.
Meanwhile, the CTO urged parents to encourage their children to use their abilities in constructive activities rather than dangerous pursuits.
Citizens Asked to Report Drifting and Wheelies
Shirazi also appealed to citizens to send videos of wheelies and drifting to the traffic police WhatsApp number 03225638888.
He said these reports would help police take legal action against those breaking traffic laws.
