The National Database and Registration Authority has introduced a special doorstep service for elderly and disabled citizens.
According to a statement issued by NADRA, people who find it difficult to visit a NADRA centre can now book an appointment and request a NADRA biker to visit their home for identity card renewal or modification services.
The authority said the facility is currently available in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Taxila, Wah Cantt, Lahore, Karachi and Hyderabad.
Citizens can book an appointment by calling the helpline at 051-111-786-100 or mobile short code 1777.
