KP Governor Forms 11 Member Team to Run Province
An 11-member special advisory council headed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has been assigned responsibilities across major provincial departments, including finance, education, energy, health, law, industry, minerals, information and development.
According to the federal order, Dr. Syed Aamir Abdullah will oversee education. Tariq Mahmood Pasha has been assigned finance, revenue, excise and taxation. Meanwhile, Usman Saifullah Khan will handle energy and power as well as planning and development.
Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Advocate General Aamir Javed will oversee law and parliamentary affairs. Samar Haroon Bilour has been given responsibility for information and broadcasting.
Dr. Muhammad Irshad will handle industries and commerce. Maulana Muhammad Tayyab Qureshi will oversee Auqaf and religious affairs.
Lieutenant General (retd) Nigar Johar Khan has been assigned the health portfolio. Kifayatullah Khan will oversee home and tribal affairs, while Dr. Sarfaraz Ali Shah will handle mines and minerals.
Asif Rafiq Afridi has received responsibility for several departments. These include communications and works, local government, housing and transport.
