FBISE Extends HSSC Registration Deadline

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has extended the deadline for submitting Registration Returns at the Higher Secondary School Certificate level for all affiliated institutions to October 30, 2026.

The extension was granted on the request of affiliated institutions and on the special intervention of Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.

The decision was taken in view of the difficulties faced by affiliated institutions in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and other regions in completing the registration process within the earlier deadline.

The extension aims to facilitate institutions and students by giving them additional time to complete the required registration formalities.

Accordingly, Registration Returns may now be submitted by October 30, 2026, with the normal registration fee.

FBISE is also issuing a revised notification to all affiliated institutions in this regard.

Heads of affiliated institutions have been advised to use the extended deadline and ensure that Registration Returns for all eligible students are processed and submitted on time.

They have also been asked to make sure that all information provided in the Registration Returns is complete, accurate and in accordance with FBISE rules and requirements.

For further guidance on the registration process, eligibility criteria and related procedures, institutions have been directed to refer to the earlier registration notification issued by FBISE for the current academic session.

All concerned institutions have been asked to take note of the revised deadline and complete the registration process within the extended timeframe.
