3.2 KG Ice Seized From Dubai-Bound Passenger

The Anti-Narcotics Force has foiled an attempt to smuggle 3.27 kilograms of ice and arrested a passenger who was about to fly to Dubai from Quetta International Airport, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The force also arrested six suspects in six separate anti-smuggling operations and recovered 87.683 kilograms of narcotics.

In one operation near Rawalpindi University, ANF personnel intercepted two suspects riding a motorcycle and recovered 4.8 kilograms of hashish from their possession.

The arrested suspects reportedly admitted to selling drugs in educational institutions.

In two separate operations in Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi, ANF officials recovered 36 grams of banned drugs from two parcels that had arrived from the United States and the United Kingdom.

In another operation near Super Highway in Karachi, ANF arrested a suspect and recovered 72 kilograms of hashish.

Separately, ANF intercepted a car and recovered 7.2 kilograms of hashish during a search. Two suspects were later arrested in the case.

The force registered separate cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act 1997 and launched further investigation.
