Ramza Launches Alpha EX3 Electric Scooter in Pakistan
Dewan Motors is preparing to introduce Hongqi, a Chinese luxury car brand, in Pakistan, with reports pointing to a possible launch in the first quarter of 2027.
The Q1 2027 timeline has not been officially confirmed, so the launch window should currently be treated as reported rather than final.
Chinese Luxury Brand With a Long History
Hongqi is a luxury automotive brand owned by China’s FAW Group and produces both sedans and crossovers.
Its vehicles are often compared with Rolls-Royce models because of their large, luxury-focused designs and styling.
Hongqi also has a long association with the Chinese government and has historically been used by Chinese state leaders and during major official events.
Can Premium Hongqi Cars Find Buyers in Pakistan?
Hongqi’s expected arrival would add another premium brand to Pakistan’s automotive market.
However, the bigger question will be whether there is enough demand for such vehicles in the country.
Luxury cars already represent a relatively small part of Pakistan’s overall vehicle market, and Hongqi would have to compete for buyers looking at established premium brands.
Dewan Motors has not yet revealed which Hongqi models it plans to introduce, their prices, or the exact launch date.
