Toyota has reduced prices for its Corolla Cross hybrid variants after the government lowered the sales tax on locally manufactured hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) with engine capacities of up to 2,000cc.
The Corolla Cross HEV X now costs Rs. 9,729,000 after a Rs. 570,000 reduction, while Toyota has cut the price of the Corolla Cross HEV by Rs. 550,000 to Rs. 9,299,000.

Toyota’s notification sets the revised prices on an ex-factory Karachi basis, effective September 13, 2026.
Toyota had increased the prices of both Corolla Cross hybrid variants on July 8 after the sales tax on locally manufactured hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) rose from 8.5% to 25% effective July 1. The tax increase pushed the Corolla Cross HEV X from Rs 8,935,000 to Rs 10,299,000 and the Corolla Cross HEV from Rs 8,535,000 to Rs 9,849,000.
The government later reduced the sales tax from 25% to 18% for locally manufactured hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) with engine capacities of up to 2,000cc. Several manufacturers have since lowered their prices, with Toyota now cutting prices for the Corolla Cross HEV X and Corolla Cross HEV.
