Pakistan has secured first place in the International Tent Pegging Federation World Cup qualifier held in Oman, earning a spot at the fifth International Tent Pegging World Cup in Jordan.
The Pakistani contingent delivered a strong performance throughout the competition and finished at the top of the overall standings with 455 points.
Pakistan also secured an impressive medal haul, winning six gold, five silver, and two bronze medals as the riders showcased their horse-riding skills at the international event.
The performance highlighted the hard work, commitment, and dedication of the riders, coaches, and support staff associated with the Equestrian Federation of Pakistan.
Following its first-place finish in Oman, the Pakistani team will now represent the country at the fifth International Tent Pegging World Cup, which will be held in Jordan.
The achievement is also expected to generate greater interest in tent pegging, a traditional equestrian sport, across Pakistan.
