Target will host a Circle Deal Days sale on the exact same days as Amazons fall Prime event
Early holiday shoppers will have multiple sales to hit up next month. Target has announced its plans to host a 48-hour Circle Deal Days sale on Oct. 6 to 7, the same days as competing savings events at Walmart and Amazon — including the latter’s “October Prime Day.”
Circle Deal Days will feature discounts on “thousands of items across apparel, home decor, kitchen gadgets, beauty, toys, tech, and more,” according to a company press release. That includes:

Up to 40% off select tech, including select Dyson vacuums, Heyday gadgets, and laptops from Acer, Dell, HP, and Lenovo

Up to 40% off select toys from Barbie, Monster Jam, and Our Generation

40% off select clothing and shoes

40% off seasonal decor and lights

30% off select kitchen gadgets

30% off select furniture, bedding, and home decor
Circle Deal Days will run in stores, online, and in the Target app.
Some fine print: Circle Deal Days will only be open to members of the Target Circle loyalty program, but it’s completely free to join. Members of the paid Target Circle 360 tier will get early access to the sale a day early on Oct. 5.
Shoppers who sign up for Target Circle anytime between Sept. 27 and Oct. 5 will score a 15% discount on their first purchase post-joining. Those who upgrade to an annual Target Circle 360 membership will earn $50 in Target Circle Rewards, effectively cutting their $99/year membership fee in half. (Target Circle Rewards are cash-back credits that can be put toward future purchases.)
Amazon previously announced that its Prime Big Deal Days sale will return on Oct. 6 and 7. The event is commonly referred to as October Prime Day because it’s exclusive to members of the retailer’s Prime program, just like its flagship summer Prime Day sale. Early Prime Big Deal Days savings are already live.
Meanwhile, Walmart will host a Fall Deals event for a full week from Oct. 5 to 11. It’s not a members-only affair, though Walmart+ subscribers may get early access to the deals. (The big-box retailer hasn’t confirmed that yet, but it’s been an aspect of its past sales.)
