52-KM-Long Diversion Announced on Major Motorway

The National Highways and Motorway Police has closed the northbound section of Motorway M-4 between Faisalabad Interchange and Pindi Bhattian due to ongoing repair work.

According to Motorway Police Central Region spokesperson Syed Imran Ahmed, traffic on the 52-kilometer stretch has been diverted, and alternative routes are available for northbound travelers.

Motorists travelling north can use the Chiniot–Pindi Bhattian Road to access Motorway M-2. The diversion has been arranged to facilitate traffic while repair work continues on the affected section.

However, the southbound carriageway from Pindi Bhattian towards Faisalabad remains open to traffic as usual.

The spokesperson said authorities had installed signboards and completed safety arrangements along the alternative routes to guide motorists and ensure their safety.

Motorway Police has advised travelers to use the designated alternative routes and follow traffic instructions to avoid inconvenience during the repair work.

The department has also urged motorists to remain cautious and cooperate with traffic personnel while travelling through the affected area.
